Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), also known as 2-Factor Authentication (2FA), helps users verify and better protect their accounts.
First Login to Merchant Home
The first time you log in to Merchant Home at https://my.clearent.net/ui you will be taken to the email verification screen. An email will be sent to the email associated with the username with both a code and a link. You can either click on the link to verify or enter the code on the screen.
Set Up Phone Verification
Once email verification is complete, you will add a phone number so you have the option to verify via SMS (text message) on future logins.
Returning Login
You will initially be prompted to authenticate via email by default but can click the “verify with something else” link on screen.
Reset SMS Login
Security settings are customizable in Merchant Home by clicking on the drop down under the username.
